Ahoi there!

I created the project “The Last Year On Earth” with the idea in mind to post one picture every day throughout the year 2012. Even though the Maya did only predict the end of the current cycle, many persons still believe that 2012 will herald the end of the world and that´s why I gave my photo series the name “The Last Year On Earth”.

The pictures you can see will not be of any specific theme or idea and instead they are just shots of anything that I liked this day.

About the picture:
I thought it would be a nice idea to combine the golden metal of an old trumpet I got from my grandpa with the brown branches of some dried out bush and see how it fits. Well, this is the result! :)

About the picture:
Hehe, I realized that I kind of run out of interesting images when I stay late at work and only have a little of my freetime left… well, so this day it is my evening meal you´re going to see! A new product of fondue that I tried.

Went out to a trip in the countryside but unfortunately it was so cold that we wouldn´t want to go far and so this is the only image I could shoot that day! :)

We´ve been strolling through a nearby forest today and stopped at several nice places of which I took some pics. The one of this bench I liked most so this is going to be my pic for the day!

About the picture:
Spent the night at my girlfriend’s house because we were both ill and wouldn´t want to go out anymore. But I still managed to get a nice pic! This time a pic of a small faery puppet hanging in the living room.

About the picture:
Late that night I was realizing that I did not yet took any picture of this day and I desperately thought of something that I could photograph for valentines day… yes, it was valentines day! :) I do not celebrate that day but when I was looking at the empty toilet paper rolls in my bathroom I got an idea of my very own valentine shot!

Ok, I have to admit that it looks like a relaxed evening but actually it was in the afternoon that I sat on the couch, put on a movie, got my captain morgans bottle and grabbed a pencil to draw some basic ideas for my next tattoo!
